About us

Hi my name is Hannah. I'm the founder of Sunday Morning Candles, and I've always been a huge candle lover. There's something so comforting about filling a room with a beautiful scent and that warm, glowing light. For years I struggled with frequent migraines that were often triggered by the strong chemicals and synthetic fragrances in most candles on the market. It reached a point where I had to give them up entirely, and I really missed that simple joy in my daily life.

That's what inspired me to start creating my own candles at home. I wanted products that smelled incredible but wouldn't cause any more headaches. After months of testing formulas and sourcing better ingredients, Sunday Morning Candles was born. The name came from the love I'd feel from spending Sunday mornings with family and church in Southeastern KY (and the Maroon 5 song of course). The Bible verse on all my products is important as well because I want to let people know that Jesus loved us first and I want to spread that love to everyone.

My main goal is to offer great-smelling home fragrance products that are completely free of harsh chemicals, clean-burning, and safe around little ones and pets alike. I believe everyone should be able to enjoy a beautifully scented home without worrying about what's being released into the air. Whether you have kids, fur babies, or just want peace of mind for your family, these products are designed with all of that in mind. Thank you for taking the time to get to know more about us.
